Adzily, the start-up, was founded in 2019 by Ahmed Ashoor, Mostafa Hendawy, and Mohamed Ossman; the company ranked number 19 on Forbes’ list as its funding reached 12.2 million dollars. It was funded by Saudi Arabian private equity firm ‘Al Tharawat’. The startup company is planning to use this funding to expand its business in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as it is currently installing more than 3000 screens across 68 metro stations including 1300 screens across metro and 1000 across SWVL and the rest across other remaining networks in Egypt.
It is worth mentioning that according to PQ Media, DOOH accounted for 28.3 of all out-of-home (OOH) ads in 2019, and this is predicted to rise to 38.3% by 2023.
